Last Friday, November 24, Marta Sanigórska, Natalia Dymarska and Daria Bal represented our, „Housing estate Game” at the International Scientific Conference TOWN, REGIONS, SPA, in a paper entitled ,,The problem of creating multi-variant studies of land absorption with the use of the urban Housing Estate Game”
They enriched their speech with examples from their engineering thesis, whose supervisor was dr. hab. Inz . arch. prof. PŚ Tomasz Bradecki:

This time we present the thesis entitled. “Urban planning and architectural concept of a residential and commercial development complex at Sikornik Estate in Gliwice. Model concept using pro-environmental solutions on the basis of the models of the “Estate Game”” was made under the direction of Dr. Tomasz Bradecki at the Faculty of Architecture, Silesian University of Technology.
Something like this has never happened before! Natalia Dymarska (a member of Urbanmodel) designed a Green Estate in Gliwice based on the Housing Estate Game!
The thesis entitled “Urban planning and architectural concept of a residential and service development complex in Gen. Władysława Andersa Street in Gliwice. Design concept using pro-environmental solutions on the basis of models of the Housing Estate Game” was carried out under the supervision of Tomasz Bradecki.

During the Night of Scientists of the Silesian University of Technology on 07.10.2023 we tested the prototype of the Settlement Game, a card game, urban game, board game
Official trailer showing the capabilities and uses of the housing estate game cards. Each card refers to a 3D model. These cards/models can be combined to create virtual settlements. The video shows one of the settlements created by students, a study of the models in augmented reality and in 3D software. At the same time, it is an illustration of an expanded EKO settlement in one of the games proposed by the authors.
In the housing estate game, we attempted to explore models in real life using the free AUGMENT app on cell phones. The posted graphics show actual photos, without processing. The app allows real-time exploration of the model on any flat surface.
